IT’S very important to know how many gallons per minute your irrigation is
using
that will also let you know how much water you are using inside your house
Example: there are 10 sprinklers each sprinkler puts out 1 gallon per minute
system runs for 10 minutes that equal 10 gallons per minute...
The great thing to no is that not every station is going to run at 10
minutes
There are sometimes locations that might not get the same amount of sun ,
or may be flower bed area .
The problem is that with out knowing exactly how much water is being used on
your irrigation because your water bill depending on what area you leave in
only shows you the total amount of water used for the month / year. It’s
estimated that 70 percent of water goes to irrigation? Maybe not total sure.
The for sure way to know is by adding up all your sprinkler nozzle which
will give the total gallons per minute the system is using … The other way is
to make sure no water is running inside the house .Go
to your water meter in your yard write done the numbers
on the meter
. Then turn on your system let it cycle through Example you have 3 water
stations run each stations for 1 minute
go back to the meter see how
many gallons were used . I do provide a service

water meter ..
Once you know how many gallons per minute your system
is using then you will be on your way
to saving money and water .. Its real important to understand .. That's why I
recommend a smart timer
irrigation box .. and maintain your system ...
